Akolawole Akolapo Abiodun, best know as (WestBoss) is a rapper,singer-songwriter and MC,  WestBoss was born in Ibadan,oyo state and hails from Egbeda local government area and from the Yoruba ethnic group in the western part of oyo state,Nigeria. He attended bishop Phillips academy secondary school in Ibadan,oyo state. He schooled briefly in Islamic preaching school, one of the country's foremost higher institute of Islamic preaching learning,later moved to Kaduna where he did his preliminary National diploma course in electronic electrical
